Accidental Death & Dismemberment Benefit

Accidental Death & Dismemberment Benefit

Please note that effective November 1, 2022, CSPA is no longer partnering with this service. Registered Participants are still welcome to contact American Income Life to purchase insurance, but there will be NO complimentary insurance offered.

The National Office, the Board, and our committees are always doing our best to introduce new initiatives and benefits to being a CSPA skydiver.

We have partnered with American Income Life to introduce an Accidental Death & Dismemberment Benefit, just by virtue of being a current CSPA registered participant.

We want to remind our membership that CSPA takes your privacy seriously, and NO personal information was, or will ever be provided without your expressed permission and CSPA managed the mail out internally with no additional costs.

We started this partnership because over the years, we’ve received multiple inquiries about personal insurance programs, and the difficulties of finding ones that cover skydiving. We also recognize that our sport carries inherent risks and carrying personal insurance is strongly recommended.

Please note, this is NOT travel insurance.  Please talk to your preferred insurance provider for travel coverage.

When partnering with AIL, the details that the CSPA Board of Directors agreed to include:

  • Valued at $2,000 per affiliate.
  • No-cost to CSPA or you, the skydiver.
  • Valid during skydiving activities, both amateur and professional.
  • Still valid if jumping outside of Canada.
  • You can also volunteer to hear about other supplemental benefits that are available for purchase.

If you’ve received an envelope containing information regarding a new benefit that CSPA has introduced for all our registered participants, please follow the directives in this envelope. If you did not receive an envelope, the information on how to proceed is provided in the benefit letter below.

If you choose to accept this benefit, for those that return the response card, an AIL representative will:

  • Personally contact the member to set an appointment
  • Deliver and explain the no-cost benefits
  • Implement the marketing strategy
  • Review the voluntary supplemental insurance benefits available
  • Request a non-perishable food item for the food bank

Please see the benefit letter below.

If you wish to opt out of any communications regarding this benefit, please log into your online profile and change your communication preferences. Additionally, if you have questions or concerns feel free to contact us at [email protected]
